      I purchased the home at ********************** October 2022. The previous owners used this company to replace the roof in 2019. Documentation is needed for insurance and warranty purposes. The previous owners tried multiply time to secure this information for us. I have contacted this company for this documentation at least eight times. My insurance agent has contacted this company at least four times. They acknowledge they did the work but have been unable to produce any documentation saying that their records don't go back that far. This does not make sense to me that a company cannot produce records from 3 or 4 years ago. Is there any recourse? How can I prove to my insurance company that my roof is only three to four years old? What if I have a warranty issue?

      Hello - this is not our client.  Paul Davis is a franchise and we are all independently owned and operated.  She worked with Paul Davis Restoration of Northern Virginia located in Ashburn.  I have alerted them to this complaint and asked that they take action.  Please remove this from our record as this is not our client.  Thank you.

      I have spoken with the insurance agent representing ************** (complainant). Insurance claim information from 2019 was provided to the agent, ********** ***************, which included roofing and siding material used in the restoration project at the property in question. I was also able to confirm in writing that there is no balance owed and that the property owners at the time of the restoration project completion, signed a certificate of satisfaction with the work performed.  This information now allows the new property owner to receive a discount on their annual policy premium.

      Please note that Paul Davis Restoration has provided all information requested by the complainant and her insurance agent. I have attached the e-mail communication provided to the insurance agent regarding the work performed, the materials used and the start and completion dates from November, 2019. The insurance agent also requested that Paul Davis Restoration confirm that no money is owed on the project, and this, too, has been confirmed. The insurance agent is delivering the documentation to his review team and will contact me if he needs further information. Thank you!

      I have been in touch with my Insurance Agent and he advised me that he had received some information from this business and was in the process of checking with his team to see if that is enough.  However, I have not yet received a communication from the company regarding the warranty of the products they installed.  Can you inquire as to when they will provide that to me?
